Can't find a link handy but basically a German Distributor got engraving happy, added a picture of a torch & jacked the price up. Consider it vandalism of large % of this coins mintage.

NO ONE KNOWS FOR SURE:) and that is the only thing for certain, lots of speculation it was done at the Shanghai mint , and not a large percentage apx 1000 to 1500 coins where marked ,PCGS recognizes the coin and grades it as a torch privy....................... I know the one I own is a much better example so I am a happy camper:),I also love the controversy makes it fun!

IMHO since you are only shipping to the USA and Canada, the current market price fo itr if you put it on ebay auction is going to be in the $190-$200 range including shipping.

If you offer international shipping you could probably get a higher price. If you live close the USA drive down to the USA to ship. The reason is that shipping from the USA is going to be cheap. Shipping within the USA with tracking is around $4.00. International shipping to almost any country with registered mail is around $18.00.

    Much cheaper than Canada Post.

I dropped it to 200.00...I live close to Toronto, so driving wouldn't be an option for cheaper shipping but you're right about Canada Post.

Highly suspect. Pandas were no longer double sealed after 2005 if I'm not mistaken.

wow those are ugly with those massive white spots.

I emailed that seller a while back asking about if all the PF69's they had were spotted because that seller was auctioning off tons of those in PF69 & PF70 so i was going to try and grab up a couple good deals. He said all the PF-69's have spots so i never did buy any of them.

I really like this metal and i got the 1oz and 5oz but it is sad to see such bad spotting on these coins.

It seems that a batch of these have come up with tons of spotting while others are fine.
