Yeah, unfortunately many of the older Pandas suffer from this sort of damage. One advantage is that once the Panda is slabbed by NGC, there are less concerns about its authenticity. The Panda jewelry is definitely a style statement! Fantastic for Panda Parties!
Yeah, I wasn't happy seeing the 1985 coin wasted on a tacky ring! I just bought another 1985 1/10 and am waiting for delivery by DHL. It's not graded so will see the condition when it arrives. Will post photos! Still hunting down the 1985 design 3Y one from the 25th Anniversary Set.
