I'm sorry but those earrings are just plain tacky! That is so wrong in so many ways. :/
    What a waste.

These are definitely not posted as Ebray bargains

I'm just curious as to why someone would pay NGC to grade the thing as scratched, or was there a hope that NCS could do something about the condition of this coin?

Continuing the jewellery theme.. is it worth getting these cufflinks graded? Can you wear these with Panda ear rings without looking tacky, or is it a style statement?

Yeah, unfortunately many of the older Pandas suffer from this sort of damage. One advantage is that once the Panda is slabbed by NGC, there are less concerns about its authenticity.

The Panda jewelry is definitely a style statement! Fantastic for Panda Parties!

Yeah, I wasn't happy seeing the 1985 coin wasted on a tacky ring! I just bought another 1985 1/10 and am waiting for delivery by DHL. It's not graded so will see the condition when it arrives. Will post photos! Still hunting down the 1985 design 3Y one from the 25th Anniversary Set.

^ Thanks for the offer, that's very kind.

Sadly I've already splashed out for a few RAW Pandas this weekend, so for the sake of my marriage I had better say no :)

^ Wow, another 2001D going for a high price??

    230856952969

This 2001D went for $302 three days ago.

Checking PandaStats; up to the 4th the MS69 2001-Ds have all been going for the normal $140-160 range... has something changed?
