    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/150793084896?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 - 1/2oz 1995 Panda (Large Date) MS68

As Thor122 correctly noticed, this seller (Yennus... ie. me) is flipping this coin on Ebay instead of Silverstackers, since it has a large whitespot around the 5Yuan.

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/1oz-Silv...50793091101?pt=AU_Bullion&hash=item231bf7f81d - 1oz Silver 2002 Panda MS68

This is a BARGAIN though :) ... I sent this to NGC with a whole bunch of other 2002s... most of the 2002s came back as MS69s... I don't know why this one didn't get a MS69... no whitespots on this bear.

Some lower grade (recent) 5oz Silver Pandas are doing quite well on eBay which is surprising.

The 5oz 2012s are looking like a good buy (especially SG medal with extremely low mintage) at around $5xx.

Yeah I love large sized coins or medals. They really bring out the detail very well.

They also hurt my wallet very bad though

I like a lot the 5 oz and have a small mintages too. But is difcult to obtain the 199x years in 69s and are a lot of pandas to buy first.

I owe a mention to Ouch... I told him paying $500 for 5oz of silver seemed expensive... he told me "$100 per oz for a Proof coin sounded cheap." (along those lines)

I agreed... thus started my adventures into 5oz Pandas.

FOR THOSE WHO DON'T WANT TO SQUINT:

China Great Wall Coins Investments Ltd.

    First Strike
    Authenticity Letter

    Dear Collector,

This letter accompanies the 2012 1oz silver panda and certifies that, after the coin was struck, it was shipped directly from China to the Profession Coin Grading Service (PCGS) with official certification. That certification stgates that it is a 99.9% pure silver coin which was struck by Shenzhen Guobao Mint Ltd. on behalf of the People's Bank of China and was among the first 50,0000 Silver Panda coins minted.

This 10 Yuan denomination coin, which is legal tender in China according to the No-27 Announcement of the People's Bank of China on 30th Nov, 2011, is subject to a strictly limited mintage of 8,000,000.

The obverse of the coin features the Temple of Heaven in Beijing, the title of the People's Republic of China, along with the year date (sic). The reverse depicts a pair of pandas and the face value of the coin.

    Yours Sincerely,

    SIGNATURE

    Li Long

    Managing Director

Somehow I missed this thread/post when it first appeared. Yes I do remember that conversation but my reason for liking the 5ozers are mainly for their aesthetics (big large coins, different designs to the 1oz, lower mintages and those lovely 3d temples on the older coins). I mentioned the price per oz only to point out that it shouldn't be a barrier to considering them. Don't want people to start thinking I'm cheap haha :)

Definitely not going easy on this coin despite just having bought my first Munich panda :p.

For population of 11 it'd be damn exciting for me to own 2 :D
