TWO Mongolia 2014 1000 Togrog Chinggis Khaan Proof 1oz .999 Silver Coins (One "coloured" and one regular (Mintage 1000 each I believe) ...So I came across the coloured version and really loved the design. I have really avoided any sort of coloured coins (unless perhaps they are silver with gold gilding like the 2013 Canadian Maple Leaf Forever 1 kilo coin (mintage 600) which I don't have but would love to own}, but due to the low mintage (1000) and really only subtle colour silver black/white to the coin I made the purchase. It was only afterwards that I realized that there was a plain silver proof version (non-colourized), so I decided that I had to have that one too, and pushed the button. The following article is a bit ambiguous regarding the mintage as it is difficult to ascertain whether the total mintage of each coin is 1000 (including the 500 of each in set with the gold coin) or 1500 of each in total. Whether there are 2000 or 3000 in total between the two 1 oz coins , I still think that is a pretty respectably low mintage for a government issued coin. http://www.coin-invest.li/Portals/0...s Release/2014/2014-03-06/Chinggis Khan_E.pdf Cheers, Luker

Two Mongolia 2014 1000 Togrog Chinggis Khaan Proof 1oz .999 Silver Coins (Sorry that the coins are a bit dusty in the last photo) [imgz=http://forums.silverstackers.com/uploads/13635_dscn0867.jpg][/imgz]
Got these the last few days. Some peace dollars, schilling coins, a couple of notes, 1968 Mexican Olympic 25 pesos etc.
2 x 1/10 oz gold roos, 1 1911 florin in fairly good nick with intact "Advance Australia", 1915 2 and a half dollar Indian and a 1 rand RSA coin.
Nice CFP, I have a couple of these but I prefer the earlier Meiji ones, I find them to be nicer and they are scarcer.
also Kam, the mint numbers on this are very large but in reality not a lot of them survived through the ww2 era due to the war, nukes going off etc. So a lot of Japanese coins of this era and before can be hard to get. 1872s Sovereign I picked up yesterday
