Silver versions here - funny how for a 1st edition (I can't find any suggestion that there were any subsequent re-runs) he says $400 in silver value lol! I know where there's a pair of these for sale now for US1500... might just try to make a deal - I reckon they're worth four or five times that at a name international auction house in US or UK...

I bought some signed Dali, Warhol & Lichtenstein lithographs in the US about 15 years ago for a few hundred bucks each & the Dali (Seasons) couple are worth about $5k each now... These medallions are a bit of a trainspotter's dream though I think, at least for this Dali nut...

Still - $2M for the gold ones? And I think they were up for sale for $5M about 2 years ago, so hey - cheap at less than half price - but there were only 10 pairs made in gold I think - I could be wrong...

I wonder how much commission they will have to pay for the sale? Sounds like a metamorphosis to me.
