You are quite happy for people to support, discuss and use Govt/Fed currencies on this forum. But take offence to an alternative.
I take offense at the hypocrisy of it all.
Having been slammed repeatedly over the past couple of years on this forum for paper trading, I think it is an absolute joke that digital currency trading is viewed as acceptable.

The warnings fell on deaf ears weeks ago. If you couldn't see this coming then you deserve to experience another ass beating in the next bubble.
Not sorry at all for posting in this section on a precious metals forum.
Different mood now than 2 weeks ago huh?

I think you're just tired of silver giving you an ass beating that it feels good that other alternative assets take a dive.
Tell me, when you bought into silver in the 30s, who warned YOU that it was going to drop to $20? Nobody on these boards, I'll bet.

This was a PMs website, highjacked by gamblers, the old guard may feel a need to take a cheeky swipe - don't agree with it but whatever.

Hey - let's get things into perspective here...

1) This board deals with multiple forms of assets and investments with their own dedicated forums.
2) Doing a search for "Bitcoin" across all forums, there are two in silver, one in gold and almost everything else in its dedicated Digital Currency forum.

I think this idea that Silver Stackers was "hijacked by gamblers" exists only in your head (and probably JulieW's as well).

let's be honest, you're only upset because I labeled you a gambler right?
well get over it mate, if you bought into a bubble then that is exactly what you are (though to be honest i have no idea on your stance as I don't read your posts).

What I meant (if you were leveled headed you'd know) is that the majority of traffic has been swayed into the digital currency movement. I don't really care if you agree with my post or not, I didn't direct hostility in your direction initially so how about you do the same.

There's people telling me not to buy silver now! Why do I care what they say?
I could find advice for both directions in any metal, stock, buttcoin it's just noise mate.

Two points:

1) Why would it matter if someone called me a gambler? Hardly an insult. Any asset investment is a punt. Show me one that isn't. It's not any worse than a stacker calling themselves a "preserver of value" and to be frank, "gambler" is far less pretentious.

2) Don't be afraid to butt heads with people. There's nothing personal here because I don't know you from Adam. I don't understand why any form of conflict / debate has to be labeled as undesirable.

LTC is crashing hard against BTC. If it gets down to 0.015 I'll seriously consider switching a bunch of BTC to LTC to see if the ratios improve over time.

Buggrit. Bottomed at 0.022 and already up 27%.

Ya I missed it too. I made a transfer from BTC to LTC at ratio 0.028

I look to make some better ones moving forward.

When the dust settles will possibly have taken a step or two backwards. Hopefully LTC can bring home the bacon. It has certainly worked for me in the past.

Anything under 0.031 is pretty darn good, IMO.

might get another stab at it if you don't need sleep? might just be a trap on a larger scale than we've seen tonight.

I'm inclined to set up a trade at 0.015 and sleep on it. BLR trading has done me well to date, might bring home the bacon yet.

Yes, I do kinda like it.
It'd be bat-shit boring if everyone just agreed all the time about everything.

results from final FOMC for 2013 will be announced in about 7 hours.
Will be interesting to see if this cryypto market responds to the comments....

bitcoinwisdom is showing Mtgox at $550 and BTCChina at $385 at the same time. wtf ?

In any case you can't really call it a crash yet.

Has to drop something like 90% from the top before it can really be called a crash.

Like SLR going from $4 to 40c
