Hello everyone,
I have 30 x 10oz Trident bars for sale = $5900 in 1 lot.
That's $19.66 per oz, which is spot price.
I won't go lower than that though.

Please refer to the attached pics.
Each bar is in its original plastic sleeve/wrap.
There is some toning along the edges of the bars.
This is a sale for low premium silver.

I prefer selling F2F in Melbourne tomorrow (Wednesday 19.9.18) for cash.
But if you're outside of Melbourne, then a bank transfer is ok.
And shipping be arranged for an extra cost.

WTS spot price 30 x 10oz Trident bars = $5900 ($19.66 per oz).

Ok noted. Does that mean if you PM it doesn’t count especially if you would like to keep your purchase under wraps. If so how do you go about contacting members so you get first opportunity. I have buzzed other opportunities first but was then told that it was already sold due to private PM. Thanks.

Hi Jonesy, some members I have found will roll with a PM - however if you really want something and the listing does not explicitly say P.M or Buzz (don't even know if its within guidelines to do that? GP? anyone?) it's better to just Buzz it as per the trading guidelines. That way everyone knows who got in first and a deal has been done. Just posting "PM sent" is ambiguous to others - because it is a PM - no one knows the content, has a commitment been made? or are further details being sought prior to pulling the trigger?

Worse if the OP doesn't check back for a while how can he give the deal to a PM (even if genuinely the first response to the ad) when there is a BUZZ on the forum. It could be construed as cherry picking, favouritism etc. I know you have addressed this very point and that my friend is up to people being honest.

Just my 2 cents worth anyways. Good luck with the next one!

Nice answer thanks and understand. Do you know where the forum guidelines are because I’m struggling to find the post. Im sure it’s in front of my face but...

Forum etiquette is that the first person to buzz either in the thread or by PM is the winner

That being said, it is etiquette, however it's the sellers decision and they can sell to whoever they like

First in best dressed usually gets it 99% of the time, but ultimately the seller can chose to sell to whoever they want

Thanks Sorprano16 that makes common sense to me and yes it should be sellers final choice. Just seems strange that you can PM 1 hr before anyone else and still get passed by. Anyway no big deal. On to the next one that may fancy my interest.

Probably just a misunderstanding by the seller

If you actually Buzzed via PM before anyone else, then they should be yours, and 99% of the time they would be but from time to time things like this can happen  and as mentioned it's the sellers decision ultimately

Yes of course and no hard feeling towards 11471147 what-so-ever. There is always another opportunity around the corner. I just wanted to clarify the rules for myself so I do it correctly. Cheers
