Worth Grading?

Hi Guys,

I have 2 coins that I want to get graded but unsure whether it's worth it as the mint packaging seems to have discolored the coins in places. If anyone in-the-know could have a quick gander at the below and share their opinion that would be fantastic.
Please note that these are still in the plastic so anything that looks like damage or marks are actually on the plastic and not the coin. The only concern I have is the yellowing on the gold in places, as the coins look pretty darn good to me otherwise , even under a magnifying glass.
Ideal world this can just be wiped off the coin, worst case scenario I have 2oz of bullion grade gold - that's all I payed for them anyway so counting any extra as a bonus. These were bought from Bullionbourse.

I'm with the person in the previous post:
2oz of Gold Bullion is GREAT but I dare say that spending the small amount to get them graded & conserved would be a sound investment should you ever decide to sell them on.
NCS Graded Coins invariably go for a substantial premium over their non-graded counterparts.
I've even seen Plain (BU, not Proof or anything) American Silver Eagles going for $60-70 simply because they're on the NCS Grading cards & have been professionally graded...... Despite the fact I've seen finer examples from the same years going for just $4-5 over Spot!
I'm no expert though but I think the "Numismatic Premium" you'd get on the "Secondary Market" would be well worth the small expense!
 
Get them conserved by NCS Then graded by NGC. Well worth it.

I have the green residue in my 1/10 gold. I sent to ncs and ngc. And became a ms68 withouth the residue.
I think with ncs you will make good and preserve your coins.
 
Can those who have sent 1 oz gold pandas for grading explain the fee structure for NCS? I understand it used to be flat fee but has changed to a % of market value.

Roman, I guess you need to weigh up the fee incurred versus the likely value of the slabbed coin if it is a MS66 vs MS69.
