Will the Funnel Web Spider sell for $500 like the Red-Back Spider?

Hey guys I'm wondering if this coin will ever reach the premium that the Red-Back spider fetches on eBay and other places. I don't know if I should sell the two I have or hold tight. I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

No. Why do I say no? Probabilities are like 200 to 1 it does reach $1,000 or so. How many Perth Mint coloured silver coin 1oz have reached $1,000+? One, the Redback spider. How many coloured coins has the Perth Mint released over say the last 10 years? 200? 300? So thats 1 coin out of 200 or 300 odd that has reached $1,000+. The odds are overwhelming against that this funnel web will reach such highs.

My thoughts....

Stop biting your nails. :P

Not a chance. Only way it ever sells for $500, is if silver reaches $500. Because if that happens, most silver will be sold for melt.

I don't think so..
Makes me wonder how the high premiums are designated, take the PM Ag Ox for example, same mintage as the others but expensive & allusive.
The same with the China 2009 Scallop & round Ox(+$500)but you can by the Fan shape for $200.
All have 66000 mintage so how is a higher % premium allocated?
Must be supply & demand or hoarders?

Call me cynical but it's just advertising to get clicks on his Perth Mint affiliate links under each video on YouTube.

Perth Mint 1oz Ag Lunar Series 2, mintage of 300,000. Ox is the second in series & the most expensive.

wait for the redback "Algeria" edition, I'm sure the Perth Mint will think of running out 2,000 of these coins in the near future !
