Like the Lunars?

I think they'd be pretty cool!


Yeah, they might cannibalize some of the 10-oz sales..

But on the flip side, they might also be a gateway of sorts for those who otherwise don't typically purchase the larger sizes, to begin with. Or at the very least, spur those to pick up a 5-oz on a year with a design that's not as strong in their eyes -- as opposed to just the 1-oz.


Yeah, a couple more coins for Perth to "worry" about.. But I think they'd do pretty well.

They really should mint gold bullion Kook fracs with a reasonable premium. They'd sell well for sure. Get all sizes in G&S.

Perth's inability to provide continuity in their product line is an image of Perth's Board Of Directors! Ron has to conform with what the management wants but if you look at the old-stiffs on the board they are as in-genius as a cat on a sunny window!

Blokes like Ron are forced to produce outcomes with poor resources and of course, he has to weigh what his bosses want vs what the market wants.

Tuff job he does and...gets flak from all sides.

If the management of Perth...starting from the fing minister and the Crownies would give Ron and his staff the resources he needs he could full-fill everyone's needs and the continuity the market wants.

Unfortunately Ron has to deal with the likes of Ed who do nothing more than shine his arse on leather and stand next to a million dollar, tonne coin which is his legacy to Perth! Ed's leadership is the cancer at Perth and folk like Steven Ciobo, Parliamentary Secretary to the Treasurer of Western Australia wouldn't have a fing clue of what is going on.

Ah, got it

But you have to admit they are doing very good job with continuity of variety for each coin design. It must take a herculean effort to maintain such a steady stream of the various coloured, gilded, boxed, high relief, privy, limited edition, and show special coins.

And of course they also are happy to make more of earlier edition coins if they see demand. Some mints refuse to do that!
