Started buying a few years ago so I am averaging $26/troy ounce. On paper I am still a winner and that doesn't include any premiums .
I am trying to get excited about dropping prices on the pretext that I can buy more but I would rather the prices were rising and I didn't have to buy more.
I was going to profit take at the much touted $50/ounce but didn't quite get there.
I don't need the fiat at the moment, let's hope it stays that way.

i've got my physical holdings locked away, but i have been guilty of shorting the market, started on silver and will start on gold soon. Easy money with so many weak hands being shaken.

My pocket is`nt hurting , never invest what you cant lose , but i may reduce my position by about thirty or forty bars , I`m a bull for the long term , but i get impatient when i`m in the red .. lol

i want to add the phrases along the lines of "only gold and silver are real money and fiat is worthless paper". back to reality, i don't think i've seen an ad along the lines of:
[MEL] WTS 1kg kook. 4 goats or nearest offer.
since WROL hasn't happened, the people of the US aren't evacuating their farms and working for travelling carnivals, while china is still buying our stuff and you're still being paid in worthless fiat; stop calling it that!

That's correct, and then i'd be even wealthier! More ounces = more wealth !!
Of course what i'm saying is relying on the fact that these takedowns are short term in nature, and should be embraced by all people here who understand gold and silver.

Considering that in the not too distant future circumstances may force me to liquidate a portion of my stack, then yes my pockets do hurt just a little.
But if I cant get a good price, I just wont sell...... there is always a way to make money if you need it badly enough
