Apart from the 3 coin set, anything else worth buying?

Tminus 1day 4 hours lol :D

perthmintbullion is a pain in the ass with the verification and stuff, so many hoops

Proofs will be sold on the main Perth Mint website from Tuesday, not the bullion website.

When will bullion go up?

Sorry I should clarify, I knew proofs were on the main pm website. I was just pointing out the pm bullion site authentication process sucks!

Also will the pricing be any cheaper compared to downies ?

New coin releases available from 12.01am 3 September 2013 (AWST):

Are you serious??

Assuming PM sells the 3 coin set for $340 + shipping, so the seller is looking at a meagre $25 profit on a 1000 mintage, high in demand set?

I'll be very very keen to see if anyone in this forum sells their 3 coin set to you for $375, when they can list it on ebay for atleast $500 and sell it to US and Asian buyers.

What's wrong with 4's? There's one on the coin.

Chinese dislike 4 and 7

I thought 4 was bad, but 7 was good? Maybe it's a regional thing?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Numbers_in_Chinese_culture#Seven

The number 7 (, Pinyin: q) symbolizes "togetherness". It is a lucky number for relationships. It is also recognized as the luckiest number in the West, and is one of the rare numbers that is great in both Chinese and many Western cultures. It is a lucky number in Chinese culture, because it sounds alike to the Chinese word (Pinyin: q) meaning arise, and also (Pinyin: q) meaning life essence.
