Just the first part. Bitcoin is crashing! All those investors losing money! All the experts who called it a bubble! Oh the humanity! The folly of crypto currencies! This is why we need regulations! This is why we need fiat (government) money! Blah...blah....blah....
 
Well, that was a fun way to spend a Sunday afternoon :D

Obviously wish I cashed out at it's peak, but managed to get out of BCH and made a good days profit. Feeling good too, as it's only dropping harder and harder by the minute

Don't plan on day trading like this, but thought I would jump on when I saw the pump and glad it worked out, this time ;)
 
Bitcoin Cash just gave a new meaning to pump and dump. Word is the biggest Bitcoin Cash exchanges have crashed/gone offline.
 
Yes, I've bought back in. Set sell order 0.489 - go do some gardening, back soon.

Still holding my free ones (now worth a motza), but just sold some other BCH @AU$2500 that I bought at @AU$500 a coin. Nice profit.
It's already dropped back a few hundred from what I sold at.

This is how it begins. There must be more trading pairs. Bitcoin Cash is having a lull after the weekend madness which is probably a good thing. It's still holding a pretty respectable price. The exchanges (and everyone) has seen the potential for BCH to topple BTC and the smart exchanges and traders will be getting ready for the next move.

I think there is a strong chance another wave of mania will hit this weekend. BCH has just successfully completed its hard fork to upgrade its Difficulty Adjustment Algorithm.
 
Bitcoin Cash might be going on a midweek run here. Up to $1440 USD on Poloniex.

This could be significant. I was not expecting a new raid until the weekend.
 
I wonder how long until Roger Ver convinces major department stores in Japan to switch over to Bitcoin Cash, since it's better suited for transaction purposes. People have to just accept Bitcoin is just going to be used as a "saving account" while Bitcoin Cash will be used as a "everyday account"
Forget about Litecoin and forget about lighting network in Bitcoin as it adds way to many complexities and can't be used in all situation. Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash will work side by side and everyone will be the better off.
 
It sounds a bit wishful thinking.

Long term all Bitcoins are going to be rubbish. So many better cryptos out there, we just need a bit of an enema for the crypto market to clear out the crap :)

There isn't really anything better, as all cryptos more or less work the same. It's just a matter of changing settings up and down to favour speed vs security. Bitcoin is the best atm as it's the only crypto that can be used. I'm amazed my how many big places accept Bitcoin now. (i had doubts there would be this many this quick) The next closest crypto to compete is Bitcoin Cash then Dash, but they are still in development. Then you have all the other ICO's which have nothing more then an idea and hope.

What crypto do you have in mind that you think will be better?

It's funny, when i had money in cryptos i was doubtful of many things, but now i'm out of the market I'm seeing it all in a different light. (still have doubts of some things) :)
 
There are heaps that are better.

I'm using ETH right now to make very fast transactions to buy gold and paying about $1 per transaction. DASH has instant send and is catching up to Bitcoin quick. Any of the graphene blockchains are transacting in 3 seconds. STEEM is even free to transfer. Bitcoins have slow blocks and high fees. One of the worst cryptocurrencies on the market for usage.

I personally don't like ETH as i think they are trying to do more then they can manage in the future, I think they will run into some big issues.

Dash is still in very early days, they have very little transactions to deal with (last checked was 315 in 1hr), but I'm very interested to see how they go. I like how they are taking a realistic approach by looking to require minimum hardware spec for master nodes. They are taking a more centralised approach.
