Where To..

Alright boys and girls...

No public stoning please - but if you all be good I'll give you my updated target for this drop! :)

Guesstimate away! I'm 100% in fiat atm after suffering a 12% haircut.. :(

I'm now looking for a drop to Approx US$150.... on gox.

Just my opinion, and I may change it. :)

Btc to $150 - ouch to bagholders!
NMC/ppc which trend with btc would be 40c
I will set my buy orders for 60c (don't want to miss boat)
But will btc EVER recover?

Do you reference australia post selling perth mint proofs as the spot price of silver aswell?

Bitstamp is only legitimate exchange at the moment in my opinion.

BTC-e well, I would be nervous with any serious amount of money.

the chinese changes are questionable

I take issue with people referencing bullshit prices (not just you silversale) I bit my tongue when people were buying and selling at ridiculously over priced rates, and still lately people referencing at selling on mt gox rates.

nothing to do with the bearish calls :)

current btc holding: zero

Yeah, I sold the remainder of my Litecoins at the $18 mark.

It's gone up a bit since then - but I think Gox will tumble over the weekend.
And however much people don't think other exchanges are tied to Gox... they are.

Tough crowd during a crash. :D
Also, good call.

Though, I am not sure your motive for the call was based on the fact that Gox would have issues with their withdraw system :P

But still, you got it right! haha

Is it time to start an argument of how much of per cent drop constitutes a crash?

it will test 600 over the weekend then recover back to 800 once the fiat flows in after the weekend. this is all happening on bitstamp, mt gox mostly irrelevant now.

How long have you known about bitcoins?
Please, educate yourself - this statement has been repeated since bitcoin started.

Silversale - good call - no point being sour because someone made a good call. To me, the pattern we are looking at is very similar to what the previous patterns have been: huge parabolic run up, deep correction, return to higher levels but not as high, further crash, things drag along mostly sideways for a while and price starts to tick up a bit progressively until the next run up.
This has happened again and again and I see no reason why this pattern would change anytime soon, especially since this last run up has drawn attention to what Bitcoin is, guidelines are just starting to be implemented, investment from conventional players has just barely started too. Anyone new to the game will panic of course, but bitcoin has been through a lot more than this and long term holders have seen far worse crashes.

Bitcoin has always rebounded to new highs. Except this time it dropped from $1k+ to $800's & now it's gone lower.

STC, In my opinion.... It should come close to death on this crash... then there will be a partial rebound where people will be giving it praises, before it has it's final crash of death. Death. DEATH. :P

..and where do you see it heading whinfell?

Well it got nowhere near your predictions yet. Up 5% today which is a looong way from $150 don't you think? Gotta wonder why so gleeful about a fairly moderate correction based on one news story.

wrcmad, gotta love the people that think this is based on a news story :D :D :D
Silver has been going to $100 for the last 3 years.... no problems.
BTC has been going to $150 for < 24 hrs..... problem?

Patience.
