Where to buy tungsten?

how many tons of China Tungsten PANDAS are we Group Buying :p

On the other hand, I think tungsten is quite an amazing metal, for its density alone, I cant afford a 1 kilo gold bar doorstop so while tungsten is cheap in comparison to gold I would like to aquire some. I stack silver anyway and hope to trade on here some day, hence the reason why I signed up, i cant see how a post about tungsten would affect somebody willing to trade silver anyway. I have lurked on here for some time and wouldn't wish to jaepordise any future trades with putting a post up about tungsten, so give it a rest about the "nice post from a new member rubbish". My first post was actually a nice one if you care to do some reearch with several people thanking me for my post.

would have been nice to buy back in 2010, famous words on here. I often say the same thing about silver, almost loaded the truck a few years back at $15 after massive losses due to poor share trading and the GFC , then it jumped to 17 then 20 then thought it was to expensive whilst I watched it climb to near 50. Lesson learnt.

Hi, so you thought about putting this in the GOLD section, and then thought better of it? Then you post a topic about TUNGSTEN in the General PRECIOUS METALS discussion...

So there are levels of Wrong? Your logic was it wasnt gold, but it is a precious metal? Hmmm... general discussion me thinks .. this is as base as it gets im afriad.

I've got some short lengths of 1/4" tungsten rod that is surplus to my needs now...

Does anyone do a 10oz minted tungsten bar with 100 "mills" or whatever it is gold plating and a picture of Ben Bernankes face on it?
Text should be 'Fort Knox 10oz Gold Plated Tungsten" or similar.
I'd buy it for a laugh.

No I didnt think about posting it in the gold forum- I would have posted it in the gold forum if i was a troll wanting a reaction like many of the ones on here but that was not the intention of my post. Tungsten is a precious metal and I believe I have posted it in the correct forum. As for the rest of you who are mocking "sticks and stones" i will find it and stack it with or without your help.

Yep...Oakley did it years ago...it's the name of the rubber stuff they use on their sunglasses, BMX handlebar grips and..ummm ...their "other rubber products" ;)
