Where can I get an independent valuation in Sydney?

Hi all, I need an independent valuation for some coins, they are in my SMSF and I am compelled to have them valued annually.

I need a good valuer FAST!!!!!

For a SMSF can you not use a recognised coin catalogue (McDonalds) etc. I know for bullion bars and coins PM buy back prices are acceptable

That is a good question. My advice is to get an independent valuation.... I assumed this to be one I paid for!!

Also, I have Spanish gold doubloons which need valuing.... Are they in the catalogue you talk about?

if its for ___ purposes find the tightassest dealer and get them to write a quote to buy after all that's what they are worth :)

edit: which is probably most of them/

don't use maccas book 99% of coins way over priced.

Really? I welcome how to get around it... I was told ATO requires it annually...... :(
 
In my opinion Noble Numismatics is the best if you go ask for Jim and say that Max Moran told you to go he will give you a fair price and he is always looking for consignments for his auctions I hope this helps you -Max
