The 2014's should be released in Dec from what I've read.
There are a few major mints that mint them- ShenYang Mint, the Shanghai Mint and the Shenzhen GuoBao Mint. Doubt they sell to the public but you could always Google that info.
45 million mintage for the 2014 1oz silver is my bet :lol:

what is the better buy: year of the horse or 2013 pandas?

Lets say you can buy your 2013 Pandas at $27-$29/Each. Which is what I have been buying them at even on ebay. You are getting a solid coin for a cheap price. Even with the high mintage for 2013 its a premium coin that will continue to climb each year.
What do you guys think the Horses will be released at?
I have not seen Perth Mint Lunars sell below $35 but I also have not seen $20- silver either.
If a veteran can shed some light on how the Lunars will be released. Do you think you can buy the Lunars for $27-$29 if spot were to stay around $20/Troy oz?

Yes I agree I won't buy them any higher than $45 and if they are not $40 or less I wont be buying any rolls.
I got a roll of snakes on a trade to a guy for 24oz of Generics...my generics were all the bars and rounds I could not stand to look at. Oddball stuff from scuffy ASE's to toned and beat up generic bars and rounds.
I feel I got a good deal and now I really would like to keep getting at least 1 roll of Lunars each release to hold onto. However I am not into Horses I am more into Tigers & Dragons so I doubt if I pick up a Roll of these.
INstead I will get a few 1oz coins and a bunch of 2oz, 5oz & 10oz if funds allow for all that and spot stays low.
What is your guys target buy price for the Horse?

My sources tell me that the 2014 Pandas will be available in mid-October at the Beijing Coin Expo. This is earlier than in prior years.

When my 2 Kids who are 2 years old and the other will be born in Oct 2014 are older like 25-30 years old I will give them each 10 coins of each year and keep 10 for myself until I die and they will take them over at that point probably.
Anyways how can you go wrong if you buy at the right time.
As far as the 2013's I think people who bought sheets at $40 a pop are disappointed since spot dropped off you could buy them at $27 a pop.
If you bought 2-3 Full Sheets at $27 a pop I just don't see how you could go wrong.
