What's your first 2015 coin?

Can't go wrong with ASE. I'm buying one and only one 2015 ASE as I'm going to spread out and stack other coins. My plan is to have at least one ASE for each year minted, starting with '86. I've got two 2014, one to save and one to carry with me as it's the first silver coin I ever purchased.

Just wondering if anyone else likes to buy certain coins/bars for the first of the year that you don't normally stack, sort of as a way to keep up with the years of being a stacker. :)

I also have a notebook where I write what I purchased, for how much, on what date, and what spot was at the time. I know I'm going to be glad I did this in the future as things start to add up.
 
I bought a few sovereigns, they are a little numismatic but not so much that higher gold prices wouldn't make them worth more so I think that counts, same deal for the pillar dollars I got off of the forum.
 
Yep, I will be buying 1 x 2015 ASE as well.
I have 1 of each year since they started through to 2014, that I bought from a SS Member last year.so just thought I would continue as a side interest.
I just need to decide what to add to the order to justify shipping!!

Yeah excalibur, after my first couple purchases, I decided to set money aside each week for what I want to purchase and place an order every 2-3 months and save what I can on shipping and lower the premium a bit.
 
Pirocco I would ask you to explain yourself but I know I probably wouldn't understand it. When I first got here and asked others to speculate on near future price of silver you said it would drop a bit in the coming months and it did indeed. Luck or not, I respect your predictions now and I know you do some deep research.

But 'none' means you won't be making ANY purchases all of 2015! Because I just said 'first' purchase, so your first 2015 purchase could be made many months from now. Only question is, when are you expecting this $13 low?
 
First 2015 coin? Had to have been one of the Perth ones purchased in 2014..

I havnt bought yet but have recieved one that I bought like 5 months ago last year. MaxCoin 1oz CrytoBullion. Interesting concept but not worth it in my opinion.
 
First 2015 coin was the 2015 Kookaburra, last October or whenever...
Asked for "this years kookaburra," got 2015.
And in a parallel universe I got one of those Norwegian war sailor medals.

I've explained the shorter term method I used numerous times. Futures market. Comex. All longs + all shorts, on supply side, and the inverted on demand side. The 'total net position', as shown as the green trendline on http://finviz.com/futures_charts.ashx?t=SI&p=w1
The higher it is, the bigger the part of the spot price that is caused by the taking of the positions.
This is where hedging gets in dollars from others on the silver market.
On the 3 months term, I pick out the bottoms around 10K. Peaks are 50K.
Then second, I found that a supply/demand change of 70 Moz corresponds to a price dollar.
Since a futures position is 5000 ounces, I can calculate the price share that the futures market is responsible for, and will go once the positions are dumped and the dollar profit/loss on the accounts thus delivered. It's not silver that changes ownership on the futures market, it's dollars that do.
And that's my target price for a next purchase.
For the rest, I'm just dependent on all those on the silver market.
