What's your average price/ounce paid?

so what have you been buying just curious because im a bit like you although im only a year in iv got about 150 mixed pandas kooks and lunars and a few other bits and bobs i. like the idea of trying to get issues that might appreciate good premiums in the future. have high hopes for the wedge tail sea eagles
Yes, pandas and kooks.
I like the ASEs that so many do not. Not high premium, but more than others want to pay. When generic sell backs bring less than spot, I figure my ASEs will still sell back over spot, as they do today.
I like SS Freedom Girls proof-like and regular. Not so much the other SS stuff.
Still buy a tube of Zombucks when they come out, priced like ASEs.
Zombucks #1 easily bring twice issue price. #2 still readily available at issue price. I missed #1. 3,4,5 - who knows.
Some Perth mint stuff, Disney and Dr Who. Onesys twosys on those, no tubes.

Lots of choices out there.
Using a transference of knowledge from other collector markets, 'Buy what you like.' and 'Good stuff brings good money.' Best bets.
Trying to haphazardly look into the future collecting market may work, but not so good. Crystal balls get it wrong more than they get it right.

Worth noting, when and what to sell can be more important than when and what to buy.

I have no idea , and I don't care if I thought about it to much probably drive me nuts it is what it is right :)

my very first round was the freedom girl which I do really like and I did buy a few other ss issues proof warbird and consumerism to name but two but quickly got bored with them, noticed that gold stackers low premium 2oz seemed to consist of various trivium combinations of which there seem to be a multitude and as far as I can see they no longer list new ss issues
