Solar panel roof is perfect for the ev and it will probably become the norm. How else will that technology improve we can only guess for the future.
Snow and ice would be a pain to clear off all the time. I have to clean my panels off during the winter and it doesnt take much but its constant maintenance you have to keep up with if you want the system to charge.
I wouldn't want an ev at this point and they are a ways from taking over the market but that's an improvement that makes sense.
On second thought they may have some type of roof heater that works similar to a rear window defrost, would make sense. Korea gets snow and ice too.
