What's in the box?

I've thought they were Norfed coins smartly hidden in PM tubes so Feds didn't find them... :P

I was looking for something special and BAM! There it is... Exciting!

Thankyou for the up goldpelican.

Wonder if it would ever be possible to make a dual currency coin, i.e this coin would be 50c legal tender in the US and Australia.

So these coins don't come in capsules. shame. I hope that Perth Mint doesn't start producing their other coins without capsules, and in tubes instead.

I went a bit manic and bought a tube last night... I probably should have allowed myself to cool off before acting impulsively, especially since it seems they are unlimited mintage. Oh well... I think they're quite nice.

Australian distributors are only permitted to sell these within Australia - a US distributor has exclusive distribution rights to the US.

Any idea who the US distributor is? Thanks!!

Do we have an anticipated mintage on these?

Any word GP, just received e-newsletter from Perth Mint:
With a limited number of tubes and boxes available for sale in Australia, investors are advised to act soon to acquire the superb new Australian/American Memorial 1/2oz silver bullion coin.

Haven't been advised of a mintage limit in Australia. Got a shipping notice from the mint this week so expecting them in stock tomorrow or Monday.

Spannermonkey swung by (!) today while I was filming this video and snaffled the top two coins out of the first tube - these coins fit perfectly in 1oz gold Kangaroo capsules.
