what would you sell first

Would love to see the 10kg coin. I would love to add a 10kg to my collection. I have my dealer looking out for one if he ever comes across it.
 
I must be missing something here ... most of you guys are saying that you'll sell your smaller blobs first and then the larger ones. Shouldn't it be the other way around? Shouldn't you look to sell the bigger 100oz/kilo's/10ozers first followed by the smaller stuff?

My thinking is if a moonshot or SHTF happens then you won't want the big bulky stuff. Otherwise if a gradual rise happens, then you'd still want to sell the bigger items.

So what's the thinking for clearing the small stuff first?

Could well be that silver stackers have very little financial understanding.
As of today i am now calling myself a gold stacker , so no hypocrite comments thanks:)

I also miss how you consider this apparently favored selling order unusual
In my wallet I also get rid of small change first.
To avoid having to dig 'round everytime.
When no smaller anymore, I use a bigger, get change back, and have again smaller as change.

Moonshots / SHTFs are not end of the world.
They never were.
They also don't last a decade.
I didn't buy silver to get through a mad max scenario or so.
I bought it for saving, to use just like I used my fiat before.

Central banks bought it then aswell.
You know, the same whose fiat devaluation you try to escape along gold.
Just saying, nothing hypocrite about it, I think... hope...

Nice coins! A 10 kilo Lunar S2 coin is as someone else put it, a "Hero Coin". There's only like 150 10 Kilo silver Lunar Rabbits ever produced.....not normal for the vast majority of stackers or collectors to own one of those very impressive and scarce coins. Because it's not really a normal coin to own so I think when Sammy was talking about selling larger blobs, he wasn't necessarily thinking in terms of a "Hero Coin".

I tend to agree with Sammy on this, I'd sell larger blobs before selling smaller blobs first. I have no 100 ouncers so my selling would start with my largest blobs, my few kilo blobs and 10 ouncers.

The S is not HTF...and, I'm not worried about selling my smaller coins for bread and gasoline. I'd get rid of the coins I dislike the most...and, that's my logic.

If I wake up, and I'm shaving my coins down to pay a cobbler to repair my shoes, I'll jump off a bridge.
 
I honestly didn't know the 10kg coins existed. I have a few 1kg and they seem ridiculous enough. Haha. In a good way of course. But that thing is epic.
 
The amount of pressure to strike these Hero coins must be enormous. Imagine what the cost to the Perth Mint is to design, produce (blanks, dies, hubs, hand polish, maintenance on this specialized equipment, etc, etc, etc), and market these coins? No wonder they only produce a tiny amount of these.

In this video, they show a 10 kilo gold coin before the hand polishing (it looks quite rough). I have seen a video on YouTube of the 10 kilo silver coins being hand polished at the Perth Mint but can't find that video at this time.

Without a doubt if I was selling i would get rid of all my Canadian mint coins first, just because they are the worst for milk spots. I refuse point blank now to buy anything from the Canadian Royal mint, I love the designs, but man, they really are taking the micky by not even addressing the milk spot issue.
 
There are 150+ Moz maples out there, 118 Moz was 2010+.
That's 300000 monsterboxes milk spots.
I sometimes wonder what dealers do with them.
Do they resell them "as is"?
Or do they clean them?
Or do they scrap them?
