Hi all,

Just wanted to know what would be the sellers price if spot did come down to $15.00

As a starting point, Spot being $20.95 and a 1oz ASE is selling for $28.60ea (price per ounce less if bought in bulk)

Just based on single purchase for argument sake....

My guess is it won't be $22.65ea

Aus prices for ASEs have always been high.

In the US they sell much closer to spot - something like $3 or $4 above spot when I last checked but that may have changed now with the volatility.
In Aus they tend to sell around the same price as kooks

And back when silver was $15, kooks were around $22 each in a roll
Currently they are $27 each for a roll so margin (in dollar terms) hasn't changed

Koalas are a better example then ASE and Kooks

$25.91 per oz for Koalas

So @ $15 spot Koalas are - $19.90

Depends how and how many you buy.. coin shops wont go under $25 .. like the 1937 crowns.

BB etc youll get them at $3-4 over spot but youd need to get 10+

Close to spot dosent exist for one coin/round.

Expect to pay more for a 87/95/96

1for1

That's the price for a monster box of koalas.

Huh? he shops here are all under $25 for a single ASE.. It all depends on if spot has been at $15 for a while.. If i dropped to $15 tomorrow premiums would be high.. If it stays around $15 for a month premiums will drop to around $3 over spot just like it will at any price.

thats the price for 100

the price for individual coins would be $20.45 assuming spot @ $15

After reading all response I have to agree with BamaGuy. Quick drops may bring the price down but not straight away. When the dust settles then the price will follow.

Maybe not down to $3 over spot here in OZ but something more like $7. So maybe what I thought would not be possible is in fact what it will be!

That is as long as the sellers come to the party.....and if it ever reaches $15.
