What to store large bullion?

Hey guys,
Just wondering what you guys use to store large silver bullion so that it doesn't tarnish? I wrapped mine in plastic wrap then put it in a large case. But still there's tons of tarnish on it. My coins, 1 and 10oz bars are pre wrapped in their plastic sealed holders.
 
Bars or coins? Depends on the kind of bullion but if it's low premium it doesn't really matter, not worth worrying about and could be removed with a bit of huile de coude.
How bad is the tarnish?
 
are we talking bars?
if you're wrapping them and still having an issue then there's probably too much moisture in the air. Keep some chalk sticks with your silver and it should solve the problem.
 
Thanks, all my other small bars and coins are concealed. Just the big bar was wrapped with plastic food wrap and stored.
 
Plastic food wrap?!! Maybe not the best idea given all the chemicals that may expedite the tarnishing. As Aureus mentioned, chalk sticks would help. Or maybe silica gel.
 
I had once a few bars going black, they were also in food plastic bags and I had rubber band to keep it in place. Guess what, some chemical in the rubber bands leaked through the food plastic bags badly tarnishing the bars.

Some here on the Forum suggested to vacuum seal the silver.
I would suggest above an beyond that to wrap the silver in 3M Silver Saver paper.
Such paper is used by the electronic circuit board industry when shipping bare boards to customers.

An air tight container and silica gel seems to have stopped mine progressing passed the level of tarnish the silver had when I got it.
