What is this silver item?

It's beautiful. I wonder if was to house singing crickets or perhaps some kind of scented petals and was worn around the neck.

Where did you find it?
 
Bought it from one of my bling suppliers in Sydney.
No-one there knew what it was and he sold it to me for spot.
It's gone to a good home!
 
It’s Arabic for sure. I can’t read it, but you’ve got it the wrong way (inverted). Turn it around and someone might know it.
