what do you guys think of these 1/2 SII DRAGONS at $1374/oz

so does anyone know mintage numbers on these and what i might be able to get on them, i see that these were released for the asian market and may be a very small number.

Mintage is not everything. Should also consider whether the coin is desirable.

It can have a small mintage but if there's no demand for it, you would be better off buying another coin.

Just my thoughts. :)

yeah i know mintage is not everything, i bought these as bullion and am just wondering if theres any premium i might be able to squeeze out of them right now. i dont see any on ebay to compare with

This style of coloured gold lunar coin came in:

1/20
1/10
1/4
1/2 and
1oz.

In Australia, the 1/20th oz was released on 03 January 2012 as part of the:

Australian Lunar Series II 2012 Year Of The Dragon 1/20thoz Gold Coloured Edition which is on-going until the end of the series in 2019.

Here's a link to the Australian collection on Perth's numismatic site.

The 1/2oz coin that you are enquiring about 97guns is a coin which was part of a chinese set that Baoquan Coin company produced for the Chinese market.

Most of the coins were put into sets but there's rolls of coloured bullion coins available on the secondary market.

For information regarding the mintage, this link will help.
