 Hahaha! Probably is the mindset of some of their buyersFat Freddy said:More snakesnot from that bag of snakes. I think if you buy this one, you're officially empowered to walk around with a SxS double 12 gauge,
do your best Elmer Fudd imitation and say "Oh, wook at me -- I'm such a webel !!"
its basically what every dealer does now, only difference is they give you the total price and you have to break it downsammysilver said:I'm starting to like the concept of a coin premium over spot.
e.g. spot $24/oz, 1-5 coins $5, 6-20 coins $4, etc.
You would then always have a good idea of the price of the coin without needing to look it up.
Premiums would probably also rise when spot increases and thus increases the cost of future purchases.
Might make for a good business model.

my point is the coin is worth $28.35 minus spot $23.35 and you know the premium is $5sammysilver said:DanielM said:its basically what every dealer does now, only difference is they give you the total price and you have to break it downsammysilver said:I'm starting to like the concept of a coin premium over spot.

My point is that I look up and see spot is $23.35, I add $5 and know the coin is worth $28.35 from that dealer.

That's after the fact. How did you know the coin was $28.35? you had to ask. I just looked up to see the spot price and added $5.

To me it looks permanentStark said:Stupid question I guess... but, will SBSS on 4th of July (hope I've written correct date) shutdown or is just a temp "pause"? I've read somewhere that this will be permanently.
I think the cause is for him to have a fat wallet or to have a fat time with the money fat freddyFat Freddy said:I had been very much looking forward to July 5, until I heard that Bluebeard Duane will be doing "SBSS: The Next Generation"... He's reportedly hooked up with Golden State
Mint to handle production and with as yet unnamed major distributor(s) (probably Provident and whoever else) to handle distribution of his "crap for the cause." It seems this
whole SBSS thing is kind of like herpes. You may think you have reasons to get hopeful every now and then, but it just won't ever totally and permanently go away.
Just for sheets and giggles, I would someday like to see a certified accountant's statement of what funds have actually been applied to "the cause," what's been done and what's
been accomplished with those funds. In fact -- even just a good, clear definition of exactly what "the cause" is and what the goals are would be a good start. Maybe a detailed
action plan with specified target dates for the achievement of specified objectives (just like a real business plan).
How's that for the most unrealistic fantasy you ever heard?
Very Good! Well-timed, well-said and unarguably correct! I guess if I was going to continue along this line, I'd have to say something like "You got that fattin' right!"renovator said:I think the cause is for him to have a fat wallet or to have a fat time with the money fat freddy![]()
