I'm thinking of buying a Hamilton watch new, I haven't decided which one, $1500-$2000. Does anyone know how much more or less expensive they have been with movements in the Ozzie dollar and the Swiss franc or are they subject to the influence of the American dollar. I live in Brisbane. Any help with where to buy one if recommendation is allowed here. Thank you.

A quick question for the wise.

I have a couple of old stainless steel watches with dirty bracelet bands. What is the best (read easiest) way to clean them?

Thinking bicarbonate paste may be an option - but not sure. Any thoughts appreciated.
