Wanting to buy my first tube of 1oz silver coins, need some advice.

Hi recently I have decided to purchase my first tube of 1oz bullion coins, my dealer has tubes of Fiji Takus, American eagles, Canadian maples and Australian kangaroos. Should I just go for the one with the lowest premium?
 
yes, what you presented, def lowest premium, or whatever is most popular in your home country. Being from the US, I'd buy eagles, even if the premium was a little higher. The liquidity is higher for those here.

I’d be interested in knowing if you may wish to share what the dealers asking price is for the tube of Fiji Takus and the year of these coins please
 
If possible buy coins that have a limited mintage. That defines them as collectables and you dont need to pay CGT
(for more details and clarification check the ATO website)
 
There is two rolls of them (kangaroos) being sold here at the moment. I've bought a few of them (sealed rolls) and am quite happy. $600 posted. Can't really go wrong. If I had the money in an internet-useable form, they wouldn't still be sitting there for sale. Not meaning to 'plug' anyones sales threads, but since they (and their price) were mentioned as an option it's a heads-up that they are easily available here right now, for cheaper than the shops.
 
Get the design you like unless you are going for weight, then don't bother buying coins....buy larger generic bars and get more silver for the same money Lower premiums on generic bars).

You have to understand why you are buying the products you seek.
 
If you are in for silver - look for the lowest premium or discount to spot.
Now is great market to get good deals on metal.
If metal rises all junk will rise as well ... The same way goes liquidity.

Spend your dollars wise, and think twice about why you do it.
 
I go have to the gold and silver scrap dealers I could get eagles maples and Philharmonics very cheap last time look around worth a go
