Antique Victorian 18ct Gold Sovereign Case Holder in superb condition
Just a few micro dents and light wear from age.
Hallmarks include a Queen Victoria duty mark, English 18ct purity mark, and a date mark
Circa 1878
Every visible component fabricated in 18ct gold.

Very nice. How would that be carried? Key ring? Fob chain? Nipple ring? It appears to have the same gold value of 3 sovereigns before taking into account its fabrication.

I just placed 3 Sovs inside the case and there's room for at least one or two more.
Not sure how people carry these Sovereign holders.
 
That is REALLY nice. I have a sterling silver single case similar in design to yours and a double (full sov and half sov side by side) that is silver plated but they pale into insignificance compared to yours. I have grown out of penis envy and now enjoy sovereign (and associated goodies) envy.
