Valcambi Silver Combi bars

Gday guys. Silver combi bars by Valcambi are similar to the gold ones different weights of course, however would like to get your opinion on them. A few people have asked about them, i have inquired.
This product carries a huge premium, personally a bit of a novelty, break one up as pocket money for the kids! Not the sort of thing people here would stack, but maybe buy one of.
It is the type of product that could easily tie up a dealers cash if he cant move them on.
So what do you guys think? waste of time? Yep ace want 10 ? Hand em out with happy meals?
While i like the gold ones, the silver ones seem more a novelty, that is until silver hits $500 an oz!
Your thoughts?

I think fractional silver is covered pretty well with pre-46 and '66 fifties IMO.

But like you said .. its a novelty, and some people here my like the idea more than me.

I think stick to the gold valcambis .. they seem to be going like hotcakes :)

so what are the prices on these, i've been keen on getting one more for the novilty value and i'm prpeared to pay a premium to treat myself to having something different in my stack. The kicker is how much of a premium though. (and convincing hubby that i'm worth it. ;) )

I would like to add one of each size to the stack, granted they are not the best value for money when it comes to buying silver but I buy proofs from time to time and the occassional Kangaroo and neither of those are particularly good value.

I think that the idea of silver divisible into 10g is understandable but the 1g is more a sign of the times. If people weren't talking about Global Financial Crashes, Hyperinflation, $500/oz and SHTF then there would be no need to mint 1g bars. I can't see many other people doing this so it will be a nice momento of silver staking in the 2010s.

We will be able to show them to young kids in the future and tell them of how we were all going to be rich when silver went to the moon and how a 1g bar of silver would be worth $500! And then we can ask them if they want fries with their order.

Just for the chance to have physical evidence of the hysteria and hype will be good enough reason to own these little pieces of history.

Unless they are ridiculously expensive of course!

Ok the premium is a little steeper than pamp.
Not sure the premium is worth the novelty, like everything the more you buy, the cheaper they get, but will they move this end?
Will keep testing the waters on these bars.

I like the idea but ive never heard of Valcambi much...to me they look like something the fakers would make, especially the Gold.I like to stick to Perth Mint or well known stuff.

Just my 2 bobs worth.

It is more likely the financial system will be reset long before that would/should/could happen.
As much as i would like it to - I doubt silver will be allowed to reach those levels ...
but i am happy to be wrong.

Valcambi are one of the oldest in Europe, but like anything get them from a reputable dealer.
While i like the gold combi bar, their other items carry a massive premium, so yep i would stick to the pmint products as well.
The Combi bar still remains the cheapest way to buy grams, and in airtights or wafer they are easily stashed away.
The Silver combi bar is too premature i think, plenty of fractional silver around, and its not at a price that warrants breaking up a bar, definitely something for the long term or novelty.
Maybe Valcambi know something we dont! Preemptive move?
I cannot see a large amount of these silver bars making it here, no market, ties up the dealers cash.
