I Bought a 10 oz Bar latley (Sunshine Mercury) and recieved notice that it was delivered to my PO BOX a day late
So I went to the local Post Office and Opened my Box - Inside was a Key to a Larger Parcel Box
When I opened it up the package that was there was NOT Mine
Since it was on a Saturday no one was around
in the meantime I filed a claim and will go to the Post Office on Monday to see what I can do
Ever since I started Stacking my local Post Office has been such a Pain in my ASSY

Has any one else encounter this or other problems with the USPS

I opened my PO Box once and saw a key to one of the package boxes. I wasn't expecting anything. I opened the package box and saw a big box addressed to someone I don't know with a different PO Box than mine. USPS employee obviously put the key in my slot by mistake. It was also a weekend so no one was there. I closed the package box door and dropped the key into the mail slot. I hope the intended recipient eventually got their package.

yea this seems to be the case but I hope that who got my key or package does the right thing
Yes it was insured but that is why I got a POB so I would'nt have to go through this BS
This was not the first time something went wrong with USPS from now on I'll spend the extra and use UPS or FEDEX

I had them lose a money order once and that cost me $18 to replace.
Other than that I've received everything but my mailbox is 15 miles away. They could get snowmobiles or snowcats and do much better to get out here.

UPDATE
Went back to the post Office on Tuesday and checked my box and yes it was there waiting on me.
The package I recieved I gave to a USPS employee

Is there other mail services besides from USPS, UPS or FEDEX stores

At end of the day , it will go back to the local logistic services network.
Depending on places, I guess.
Parcels services I would think USPS would be better.

Just like what we have in Aust.
They are others logistic services but can they make the Right Connection?
Each location are different.

Like in Aust, Aust Post is much better.

That sounds incredibly frustrating, especially when dealing with something as valuable as bullion. I can relate to your experience; I’ve had my fair share of issues with USPS as well. It’s disappointing that such a critical delivery ended up in the wrong box, and it’s frustrating that it took so long to sort out.

I hope that by now you've had a chance to resolve the issue with the Post Office.
