Great point you raise there.
Can't help but feel it requires further discussion ...

Fraser said:As a newbie, can I suggest that members are tagged with a WI (Windbag Index)?
Where this index is defined by: WI = Number of Posts per Trade
For example, I have noticed that:
"renovator" has a WI = 7,404 posts / 7 trades = 1,058 posts per trade !!!
"mmm....shiney" has a WI = 15,128 / 101 = 150
"Eureka Moments" has a WI = 6,702 / 62 = 108
"whinfell" has a WI = 2,996 / 40 = 75
etc... etc...
My proposal is that, any member with a WI > 50, should have their posts flagged with:
"Caution - Windbag Approaching" (or such).
Fraser said:Relax Silver Dealar, by my calculations you have another 50 x 19 - 454 = 496 "free" posts until you reach (my) cut-off of becoming an "official windbag". That's a lot of help to newbie's, which (by experience) no-one does. Furthermore, to reach the stage of "renovator", you would have to generate another 1,058 x 19 - 454 = 19,648 posts without a single new trade. And for each new oz of silver you buy, you get to windbag another 1,058 times. Which even you must admit is a bit extreme. I mean seriously, what the heck are you going to windbag about to reach that level and why do the rest of us have to put up with that?!? To argue for no limit in the WI is (I think) doing the silver-stackers community a gross misservice! Without any knowledge of the matter, I expect the contollers of the site are also sick of all the wind being generated. AND if there were a restriction, then maybe members would think twice before creating hundreds of new frivolous and destructive posts every day. So there...
This ^^^ Fraser are you trying to be noticed ? ....a bit of an attention whore maybe ? to make yourself a bigshot . You have no idea who trades with who & what they trade some one with 50 trades could have traded 50 1 oz coins & someone with 5 trades could have traded 5 15KG bars so theres one guy who looks like a big trader whos only bought 50 ounces & someone with your windbag index whos traded 75 kg ... think about it a bit before you look like a total tool . Many like myself dont really use the feedback or ask for feedback to be left i dont care if anyone leaves feedback its your choice .Silver_Dealar said:Fraser said:Relax Silver Dealar, by my calculations you have another 50 x 19 - 454 = 496 "free" posts until you reach (my) cut-off of becoming an "official windbag". Look in the discussion sections of the forum. There is plenty reason for people to do many posts. Also keep in mind that people who trade with the same people again and again don't keep giving each other feedback. Some people don't even give feedback at all.
