Unsolicited / off-topic comments in trading threads

Interesting ! What is motivating Silver Pete and a few others to bump and rebirth a old thread. Could it be another attempt to deliberately stir up Chipmunk and try to get him banned ? This is not the first time this has occurred. All too often impostor pseudo stackers hog this forum. Daily they are posting and uploading photoshopped images to rack up post counts. Meanwhile, lurking in the background they conspire to take certain members down. Pretty much explains why "REAL STACKERS" after time avoid this forum like the plaque.

It's a shame ! As this forum could be far better. As for the site owners this cannot be good for business. I expect another blast and from Silver Pete and his disciples. But I don't give a crap. :P

You are interpreting it all wrong. The reference to a retarded monkey was in relation to a certain person (with monkey in their name) interrupting Chip's sales threads with idiotic, off topic comments.

They become like a bunch of monkeys; running around and hooting, flinging poo and jerking each other off in a display of pack loyalty.

It's not WHAT you say on this forum, but WHO you say it to ...

And if the person THINKS they are 'special', they exercise their power !!

Even if the situation was mis-interpreted, power must be displayed.

Was a method of European rule a century ago ....

You hit the nail on the head there. Somehow a huge post count and high trade feedback gives you the authority to bully, victimize and harass newer members, if not openly, in an even more gutless display via PM. (And I've kept the messages for the record) Won't mention names because I know the personality type. Selfish, self righteous and pompous. And definitely in need of a few lessons in basic manners and common courtesy.

The fact is I've been using the internet pretty much since the day it was available in Australia and from various selling sites I can tell you that someone is only as reliable as their last transaction. I've seen 10k + positive feedback sellers on ebay go bad over night left owing customers tens of thousands USD. A couple of hundred trades on here is small fry.

For the record, a couple of people I've met F2F don't participate in the general forums simply because of the level of BS that a seemingly harmless enquiry can degenerate into. It's the moderators job to keep this in check and they shouldn't be siding with anyone, only enforcing (and helping educate) the forum rules.

Ahh, to go back to the gold old days when only smart people owned computers connected to the internet and 99% of what was available online was truth.

Not to mention, they also pack up in group.
As demonstrate mainly in my thread.
3 or more years now. Mainly those that thanks them in the posts.
Watch out for them.

Why those Hostility to Newbies?
Rather than a guide to help them or pointing the right direction.
We were once newbies. This forum have change a lot and are growing rapidly everyday.
Yes, we do occasionally see a few that comes here to Scam & Rob some of the members here.
Not until they proof themselves.

I wasn't actually referring to you Dragafem. I thought we got al9ng fine despite you knocking back most of my offers :) As far as I was aware making offers was part of the process. Anyone not trying to get something as cheap as they can has rocks in their head. And what I'm referring to was nothing to do with a low offer. If you want talk low offers, you should hear some Ive received on the engagement ring I have advertised. A jeweller wouldn't even be able to buy/make it for the price lsted yet the lowballers still hover.

Pissing on everyone posts n threads.

Good everyone,

Lets be very clear about this, unless there are consequences for bad behaviour especially for repeat offenders, they will keep abusing the privilege of using this site and others right to conduct business in a professional manner.
Interfering in someone's advertisement is just plain WRONG and very bad manners at a minimum.

I propose terminating members after 2 warnings. How many warnings by the administrator has there been which continually get ignored by these cowboys., as there are no consequences.

I never understood why there is discussion in a sticky. I thought it was just to explain the rules by the admin. Not points of discussion.
