Unsolicited / off-topic comments in trading threads

Yep - f&ck 'em - they've always been assholes and I have no idea why GP indulges him, save for the fact that he's Goldstackers sycophantic pet - but I'm surprised by EM - he used to be OK - not sure what happened to him... Shame really.

Is this a good time for me to lol or cry ???

But seriously, last time I checked it was a "free world" ... you know .... "free trade" ... yeah ok I know !!!

But don't sellers still have the right and the freedom to offer goods on their prices and terms?

And don't buyers still have the right and freedom to buy goods at prices and terms they find acceptable?

I saw some items for sale the other night which I thought were waaaaaaaay over the top $$$$. But did that mean I should have put out an all points alert?

Or was it better to mind my own business, hoping and praying others will do the same.

Making mistakes is part of life. We've all made them. But if we're lucky our losses are minimal and hopefully we learn not to make the same mistake.

I think by the time most people come to "stackers" they have, or are beginning to have a pretty good idea about what things cost.

So if they choose to pay more than what others think is fair, then .....????

And shouldn't we be respectful in how we speak to others, especially given the potential for misunderstanding with electronically conveyed words?

As tempting as it sometimes is to say something to someone who seems to be a smart ar$e, isn't it even smarter to "turn the other cheek"?

Perhaps they are not able to express themselves as others of us may be. That being so we should we not allow the benefit of the doubt and/or show mercy.

But when someone proves to be a full on "problem", why not just ignore them.

I dunno, maybe I do need a holiday. Trouble is "stackers" is too much fun. I'd be on my device 24/7 even if I was on some tropical beach ..... la de da de da etc.

How about enjoying the fantastic benefits and camaraderie of being on "stackers" and leave it at that.

LOL, Swoydaz, not sure if you meant this but gave me a chuckle!

Which "cheek" are we talking about here??????

open one thread called "overpriced items on SS" and use it to bash other people's selling thread if you want to

P.S. people waste their time talking about other people selling their stack ... get a job for God's sake ... earn the $$ and buy this stupid overpriced coin!

It would be funny if someone thinks there ripping off a buy than silver goes up to the 50$ in one month lol

I think the question of premium on an object is very relevant in the PM market. Silver for example has an underlying value, lets call it the "silver value" and then there's the premium - which we can call the "tulip factor" if the seller can convince the buyer there be tulips in that silver, then so be it

Spot silver price is just at the top of the screen.

For mine, tulips at these prices is a bit silly. if the silver price was higher, the tulip/silver ratio would be less.

best to all!

Noone was complaining a short while ago when I sold a bunch of Perth Mint 1oz gold for $1395ea

Check the price on the board now ;)

I find that all the time, it's mainly young people. Those under 30. And some under 40. Incl my children. I textemit or ewebmessage or webtext and I get ignored. Especially those camsites where people do stuff and tell you that they love you.
