not a chance. considering the gains LTC and BTC have made over the last couple of weeks and media coverage it has gained and speculators flocking to it.

This is rubbish the price of crypto and pms is not inversely related at all.. Most crypto experts agree btc and ltc will bring gold and silver along for the ride.. I personally couldn't disagree more profits will be going to gold and silver...
Gold silver and crypto is the crypto catch cry

yes, plenty of people taking their crypto profits in precious metals. if anything it should mean more buyers understanding about containers of wealth pushing all prices higher.

A gradual slide, the graph looks like it might go a little bit lower yet.
Silver at AU$21.03 is getting down to my buy-in price of AU$21 and under...(buy the dips).
I'd expect a solid $21 as psychological resistance price on the way down.
Under AU$21, it will be time for a purchase!

sammysilver said:This is not a prediction - just putting it out there.
I haven't read this anywhere but my understanding is that stocks in the US are not dividend driven but more so capital gains. The Dow has been dropping these last few days, possibly because of profit takers plus investors cashing up for Christmas. And again, not reading too much into it as it is only small drops over a few days this December.
Now I don't believe this will be the trigger for a major collapse, but could it become an environment to enable a crash through an unrelated trigger?

Its always possible, question is what will the trigger look like? A Chinese/jap skirmish with casualties might fit the bill and spook markets.

I reckon the financial world is skating on thin ice at the moment and extra event will crack the ice.

I totally agree that the financial world is 'skating on thin ice', but Mr Market is telling the astute out there that its not Silvers time.
Some of the more intelligent might be able to link the dots as to why this is.
Others are just navely linking silver as a 'safe' asset to it. Whilst the underlying silver is safe, the price that is paid for it is not. Not yet anyway.

As said in another thread, a golden time to buy silver. The way the world economy is going, all silver purchased sub AUD24 will provide a great windfall. The profit won't be in dollars so much, but in sustainability.
My only rider is to also stack cash and food for at least 3 months.
Lastly, don't save all of your todays for tomorrow, for one day you will wake up with no yesterdays.
