Trying to ID silver coin I bought today

One coin I picked up cheap today has on one side (obverse?) the grand canyon with a small plane flying over and you can see a guy that looks like an explorer or something holding a spear and others on mules/horses riding in the canyon and says grand canyon in english and chinese, and on the other side of the coin on the top half or so, a dragon and 1 oz .999 fine silver in english and chinese, and below that GOOD LUCK also with some chinese characters, then below that Year of the Dragon and 1988, also with chinese characters next to the english words.

Sorry I can't post a pic. I've used several search terms with google and keep getting the new grand canyon coins. It is private minted I am sure but would like to know from where it came. It is silver I can tell by the "ping" and it weighs right and has a bit of mild toning.

Neat coin I grabbed from the melt bucket, along with a slightly toned Silvertowne Covered Wagon art bar (I love those and have a few already), plus a slightly scratched up 10 oz RCM silver bar (the square ones). Got them all for $15 per ounce out the door. Wish they would have had more.

Thanks for any input!

A bit hard without a pic

I know that. Unfortunately my digital camera is old and when I try to zoom on anything like a coin it is just a blurry blog. If anyone owns one of these they will recognize the details I am sure. I have never seen one before, and I have had the opportunity to sift through literally thousands of old silver bars/rounds by going through the "melt buckets" over the past years.

I am going to keep googling because I can usually find what I am looking for.

Be sure to make sure the settings on your phone are set to not save location into photo information. Not everyone on the internet is friendly. :)

Might be a bit counter intuitive, but have you tried moving further away from the coin before zooming in on it? The problem could be that you are too close to the coin for the autofocus to work properly. Perhaps try starting from 3-4 ft (or further) away and zoom in.
