Treasure Hunt on Stackers Island Dec 1 2012 NOW FINISHED!!!

Treasure chests are usually buried near the coast aren't they?because they are too heavy with loot to carry very far inland?
 
Some swanky pirate got past my defences and was able to sneak around my traps & lures.

They almost got a load of buckshot for them.

They dug hard and long and deep and found my treasure

They still need to get themselves off the island in one piece.

The spot is covered by cannons to the North & South

The trade winds are against them

The tide is low

There anchor is stuck

My fellow pirates are hot blooded for revenge......

While I chase down the thieves I will leave it up to Commander EM to draw up the hanging papers foe scoundrel.

Any pirates left on Stackers Island must now either hide out in the central mountains or try to leave thru the dangerous reef passes.

Curses on all who land on Stackers Island........

There is a reward for any crew member who turns in the
Pirate who stole my treasure.

Wrong information will lead them to being hung from the yardarm @ sunrise.

Information that leads me to the thief will be rewarded with 66 50c bit of Silver.
 
By the sound of Barnacle Boneyard his booty stash has been found.

I will confirm it is a bona-fide and correct guess and announce shortly!
