Transporting Silver

Hi everyone

I am moving cities in Australia, and having problems finding a solution for transporting my physical silver.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

The plane may work but sort of risky, and driving is out, and so far no luck finding shipping company that can do it securely.

I appreciate your advice

Cheers

Just don't do it by car unless you have receipts for it all, otherwise you will have to battle the police to get it back as they will confiscate it if found.

What amount are you carrying?
I'd be inclined to sell and buy again in a small time window from very reputable people.
You can write off the spread as shipping cost.
There are dealers here on SS who may be able to help with this.
Too dangerous trusting the governments of two countries to not touch your money.

How far are you moving? Brisbane to Redcliffe 'aint tough but Perth to Townsville would be a challenge.

We use TNT Fail-safe at work to ship Highly Protected servers between Capital cities. Secure the silver in either lockable steel toolboxes or wooden crates. Add tamper evident markings and it'll be fine.

The Failsafe service means there are 2 TNT employees in charge of your consignment at all times and it's not released at the other end unless the recipient listed on the paperwork is the person that signs for it.

It's worth a phone call to them at least.
