Topless winged kilo

Scottsdale has been selling so many on ebay last few days it has driven the price down from 700+ to the 650's. I'm trying to sell some other stuff I have to get more while they are to be had! Now are the proof-like the same finish as say a 2 oz proof??

No, proof-like (nicer but more expensive than BU) is different than the smaller proofs.

See the YouTube video I posted earlier in the thread. Basically the statue, national emblems, & lettering are mirrored, while the rest is in the usual satin finish. A lot more mirror for the true proofs.


As I'm sure you already know, Scottsdale eBay is always fast ship. You should have it by the end of the week. Enjoy! And pics.. :D
 
Yea they want 900+ for 1 on apmex... I feel like to figure out the true value of things can be hard. I wonder how places like apmex decide there mark up on certain things? Also wonder about what the original price for these when the came out back in 2012.

With those prices, apparently Apmex still thinks it's 2012..


Hard to say with pricing. If Scottsdale chilled out a little, they could easily get more for them. But it's a competitive game, and I'm sure the cash-flow is nice for them, too.


$700 USD, + or - 10%, direct from dealers, seems about right. For now, anyway.

At only 2,300 mintage, I can't imagine supply lasting forever..

Shop around is always the best advice i can give. Big dealers don't always have the best prices. I have found some great buys on eBay through small dealers or individual sellers.
