First time posting here, so excited

Is that rare? Reason I ask is I've found quite a few of them, my kids like collecting any 'different' coins. Come to think of it, they pretty much collect all my spare change.

I also would like more info about 1 & 2 cent coins

e.g. Why does the 1968 2c have a higher book value than the 1969 2c even though the 1969 has a lower mintage?

^ ^ ^ ^
1968 reverse doesn't have Stuart Devlin's initials on the reverse (SD) + the Perth Mints Blunted right claw.

The majority of the 1968's do have the SD on them, the ones without are classed as an error and fetch more $$$

Ok, I was under the impression they were all the same (1968)'s.
Will have to go back through the old copper tin again.
Any idea what no SD in F/VF would be worth, is it worth digging through them?

there were no mint sets made in 67, 68 and people didn't really collect coins like they do now so most went into circulation and were not saved in unc or better so that's why the search for unc or better 2 cent 20 cent coins is hard they are have some wear of some description 20 cent on platypuses nose man if I could find one without it :( I give up don't think they exist :( or I cant afford it

so in short that's my take on it .

that's why rolls of 67 , 68 coins are super expensive if I could go back in time I would bring boxes of them back :D
