Today I Bought...

I only bought 2 but they are 20ft long, sorry for the confusion.
They are "one trip" almost new condition for $6500 each.
The older ones are $1500 less but are between 7- 20 years old and beat up.

They arent cheap but should last a lifetime and a garage isnt in my budget yet unfortunately.

The funny part is they are almost exactly the same size as the skoolie we live in haha.

Trying to decide between a 100 oz silver bar or a 50 Peso Mexican gold.
Which should it be at about the same price.

I vote the 50 Peso, but that's just me.

They aren't making any more of them, and 100oz silver bars of one description or another are getting pumped out all the time.

It's probably and Australian thing too, it's hard to get a 50 Peso coin here but 100 Oz bars are everywhere.

50 Peso au/bu "Random year" on the way from Apmex, the cheapest option. Whoohoo im very pumped.
After what happened today i couldnt hesitate any longer and my wife taught me all about signs.

The $289 premium made me puke in my mouth a little but i sucked it up and hit checkout.
I really want one of these and we might have a couple weeks of work left before the deep snows get here so i said phuk it.

When i got to the bank this morning with my wife the digital bank sign had the time and temp which matched todays date and our 33rd year wedding anniversary today. We had to be pulling up at that exact minute and temp to get that and I took a pic of it! I swear i didnt ask them to do that.

Then at the Mexican restaurant we ate at in Salida, i looked down and saw a pic of a 50 Peso paper bill on the table and i took those both as signs.
Plus the bank sign was a sign and thats a definite sign and i told my wife if the LCS had nothing i would order that 50 Peso Mexican gold. The lcs didnt have a single oz, got totally bought out yesterday of everything he had. At that point i couldnt stop laughing.

The 50 Pesos paper bill in USD will cost you a whopping $2.59 as of today so think about that.
It was a trippy ass day and lots of weird shit happened!20221111_111258_1668228131835_001.jpg 20221111_111258_1668228131835_001.jpg

We had to run to Salida today so i stopped at the LCS again to test my luck.
He was ready to come off some of that collector junk so i took it and of course the silver dollars.

10 Peace Dollars mix of early and mid 1920s.
4 Morgans one an 1889 and all super nice coins for $28 each.

3-1992 silver proof sets for $16 per set, seemed reasonable at just above melt.

1960, 61, 62, 63, 64 US Mint sets with each coin of that year sealed in plastic for $19 per set. They are worth a few bucks more.

Im happy with it but cant get over the excess room it takes for all that cardboard and plastic just for the few coins inside.

Feeling lucky!! Got this ripper bar today, totally Awse cooling rings and patina, so good in the hand, grateful:)View attachment 74239

That paperwork makes it even more special. Is there date on it as well? That would give a clear indication when these bars were made.
