not precious metals but with out a doubt the rarest and most unique item i have every owned. i recently acquired items from the deceased estate of of a prominent Brazilian ambassador including several rare royal orders and some period jewelry including a sold money clip 
However the pièce de résistance is a 1936 ticket book to non other than the Berlin Olympic games! and not just any ticket book but a 1st class book!! Never has a 1st class ticket stubb ever hit the market much less an entire book!!
these tickets put the owner right in front of the finish line and withing spitting distance of Hitler himself!
the owner would have seen the historic event of Jesse Owens winning the gold medal on the 3rd, 4th, 5th and 9th (ticket stubs for all these events are in the book) whilst being sat among prominent politicians, celebrities and dignitaries from around the world

Bought 20pcs, might buy more, thinking of selling off my 100oz bulky bars in exchange.
The 10oz version which I bought a couple months ago appears to have better workmanship and shiny mirror look. Regretted not getting more when the price was cheaper.

Bought this shiny a month ago. One of my favourite piece, wanted to get another one but couldn't find an unscratched one - should have just bought the next best piece. After buying, I noticed some "freckles" on the griffin! Only consolation is that it will remain shiny forever, even more so than gold.

I checked out this thread and saw everyone used actual photos so I decided to show the actual coins along with a few others that came from the recent purchase. Don't want to be a cheater so to speak. I'm just learning with the photo taking so sorry for poor quality.PS The rabbit is one I've had for a while. One of my favorite coins in my collection.

These came in my first purchase of silver jewelry (1.5kg) from wladek and I have some more coming this week being 1.650kg's 
I have a lot of selling to do 
This is a World War One .925 silver medal and what it would look like if it had the ribbon on it,it is for sale.

This is probably from a Catholic School in Bangalore/Bengaluru in India which started in 1880 as stamped,it is .925 silver.
Someome has taken something fine and sharp and scratched the year 1931 into the back of it
The funny thing you cannot hardly see 1913 with your eye but my little old camera picked it up easily.
This is NOT for sale at the moment because I am pairing it up for sale with something else very sweet from India
But saying that if you have any questions about it message me

Today I received this, my first poured bar.
While it's nothing special, or unique..... What it represents to me is the horrible realisation that I have been collecting / admiring the wrong sort of silver for many years.....Lol.
The raw look / feel of this thing has me hooked. No more shiny little coins for me

Isn't this a cast bar? The pm kilo looks very cool. For some reason, I'm ok with slightly tarnished bars but tarnished or white spotted coins will be a no no.

Oddly the white spots on this don't bother me. And yes I agree regarding coins. Once had some Maples, but I had sell them due to the milk spots. They irritated me every time I looked at them .
First thing the better half said when she saw the bar was... Gee it's scratched....lol.

Important Update - I have just been doing some research on my WW1 medal and read these medals are awarded to a particular soldier,so I put my glasses on and found this written on the rim - 11298 Pte C.H. Keary High.L.I.
Just imagine this medal was awarded to a soldier in the "great war" of the rank of Private over 100 years ago,wow
Suffice to say the medal is NO longer for sale as advertised.
I am contacting the war museum in Canberra today seeking some advice.
It is my full intention to return this WW1 service medal to his family.
As more information comes to light I will post it hear
