to fondle or not to fondle

I ordered a number of Monarch Precious Metals poured bars. This of the thing, I think that a poured bar looks its best with a bit of tarnish to enhance the visual impact of the casting flaws. I'm still wondering; would it not being minty kill the premium?

Not really. I have a collection of poured silver bars and don't really care about handling them. Some even have a nice toning effect to them.

There's not much premium on re-selling a poured bar anyway, really.

Doesnt make much different. Fondle on them all the time.
Bars are different than coins.
Can Clean them afterward.
Infact some beautiful patina occured when handled them.
I love bars. Try stacking the Engelhard. Awesome!!!

Monarch bars do have a steep premium on eBay. Which to me it makes no sense, considering that you can buy them form the source at a somewhat reasonable markup.
