Tiger mintages released

It's been over a year since the last rabbit was minted.... I suppose we can feel thankful If we get it's mintage by the end of 2012....

I thought the original sales were more than two, so that is probably after subtracting ones melted down. I know Gainesville melted their 10kg tiger down for gold and other dealers may have too.

1kg S2 Lunars can be minted up until the end of the series in 2019. They won't know how many they've made until then.

That's an awesome opportunity for someone to stack an entire 1kg series II lunar. That'd be incredible to see

Now I wonder why people pay 1.5k for a 1kg Tiger :|
 
It's my understanding that the first 4 Lunar coins in the 1kg (Mouse, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit) arent currently in production. But the mint reserves the right to mint more anywhere up to the end of series 2. The mint may choose to mint more of the 1kg coins but it probably would only do so if there was a financial reason for doing so eg. a dealer ordered 10,000 etc.
