that is one of the fugliest coins i have ever seen. i would rather have ANY other 1kg coin.

Like the Canadian snowy owl? :p

Actually, I honestly believe this coin looks better than Perth mint's 2014 kilo koala. That koala looks like it just woke up!

Oh wow! i dont follow canadian coins so i just google imaged "snowy owl coin" .. i retract everything i said. owl coin is a hot mess, my new worst coin.
well koalas sleep 21 hours a day. so every time u do see a koala it did just wake up. perth mint is just keepin it real lol

Nothing really. I bet most of the coins on that TV show were bought by dealers anyway as they sold far too quickly for the average tv punter to splooge over 3-grand on a coin.

This German company (Reppa) sells on TV very expensive coins, most of their coin set are overpriced but they sell cause the TV market is different from online market, buyers with money don't compare, don't know anything, just see the price, see that is discounted, call and buy.
No more No less than tv buyers of chinese jewelry or clothes you can find on the road for a few bucks and are sold on TV for 10 times more.
Maybe those coins have been bought by dealers too, but 49 or 99 pcs is still nothing for a brand name like Tiffany.

KILO BAROQUE COST EUROPE 5500 EURO,S

That opera house coin does look nice, but the market for it will surely be manipulated with by the German dealer that commissioned it, I wouldn't touch it until it's been out for at least 6 months.

This coin is definitely overpriced. Some German dealer thinks that is enough to commission some tiffany-like coin and then set it at same Tiffany price range. No way!!! I pass this coin and if I buy I get it for $150.00 which is enough when most of these coins will remain on the shelf and dealers will start to flip on the market.
Well said db23!
Alex.
