Thickness of rounds

I received some rounds last week, and noticed they were a bit thicker, but tonight I was looking at my stash, and noticed they were really thicker. These are Standing Liberty 1 oz Silver Round from Provident. On the edge they measured 3.2 mm. Some of my others measured 2.6 mm.
I took two rounds from one tube and put in another tube, and it still didn't fill the space the Standing Liberty rounds filled. I could have almost put in a third round.
On a scale they weighed about the same (1.05 oz) depending on how hard or gentle I laid the round on the scale.
Is there this much difference in some rounds?

Being over 1.5 grams over 1 troy ounce, i have a fealing it may be fake. Why would they let that much silver go. Especially if u buy a monster box! You would be getting 777 grams of silver extra!

The lip extrudes more in some coins giving the illusion of a thicker coin. I have even visible noticed a difference between two buffalo rounds coming from different tubes. Could do a gravity test if your scales to grams to 2 decimal places. On that note a 5% scale variance means it's time to get another set xD

Should weight 1.097 ounces, which is equal to 1 troy ounce.

I suspect that either your scales are not accurate or maybe it's a fake?

5% variance in weight is pushing the limits of what's an acceptable tolerance, assuming the scale is accurate. The thickness is what worries me. Maybe you can take a picture of the 3.2mm and 2.6mm coins side by side?

No matter which round I weighed, it was always 1.05, so yes, scales may be off.
And I will try to get a pic of them side by side. This coming from a major dealer, I can't see them being fake, but I am rather curious why it's such a big difference.

IMHO, US round/coins have higher percentage accuracy closest to an oz. they are not that generous with the extras oz. given.
I believe the scale may be off or the rounds is fakie then.
