The palladium bar sitting on my desk just went into existential crisis!
While it is classified as a precious metal, palladium is better known as a rare industrial metal used extensively in the car industry, which is much like platinum. Although it is quoted in markets where precious metals are traded, the actual metal itself can't be easily bought by investors. There are no coins or tradeable small bars like gold and silver.
Investors who want to access this precious metal must invest in the palladium ETF that offers exposure to palladium in one-tenth of an ounce lots.
