The worst news... Maggie

Silver Stackers is and (hopefully) will always be a house with many doors..

Silver discussion..political dialogue..rants and (lets's face it) Rubbish :) etc .etc.

After reading so many of the beaut expressions of CONNECTION with Maggie and her impact on all of us..I would have to say her door was always open and it had nice aromas coming from the kitchen... a garden gnome by the step..maybe?.. and laughter everywhere.

Just thinking..
 
I'm new to this site and it's obvious how much she meant to the members here. Fantastic to read such positive views on a public forum! It vary rarely happens. I've been running a car enthusiast site for 10 years now and understand forums extremely well. Russ was clearly a very lucky man!

It's a shame I never got to trade with her as I just started out in my quest. I really hope Russ or someone will equal energy and friendliness will take over this roll. RIP.

I was totally shocked today when I realized the news. :/ :/ :/ I can't believe it.

She was one of the most if not the most honest people to work with. Always so kind and honest.

When I placed my last order I didn't realize it would be the last. Since I couldn't afford to pay customs for it she held the round for me for a very looong time. Few weeks or months ago she told me that she will sent it back to US due to the milk spots. I felt quite bad because she had so much work with me. Just today I was thinking of writing her if she got a new one.

Now I feel even more bad because I didn't insist more that she wouldn't need to do this. :/ But such big hearted and kind as she was she insisted to get the deal through.

Coincidence or not this round was Pegasus. As Greek mythology tells Pegaus was in the end as star constellation placed to the sky by Zeus.
Somewhere in that sky, with Pegasus and others divine beings, one start lights for Maggie and it lights stronger than others.

I will miss her despite I never knew her.

She really was an angel. A diamond among silver coins (collectors).

I am shocked as well, as I had been away from SS for a few weeks and only just found out on Hotcopper.

The tributes are a real blessing to who Maggie was and the way she came across to everyone including me.
She touched people's hearts and lives.

My condolences to Russ and the family.
 
I've just logged in and read this and am absolutely devastated to hear this sad news.

Cheryl was one of the kindest people I have every come across and I am so sad I never got the chance to meet her in person.

My deepest and sincere thoughts to Russ and the family at this sad time

It's amazing that Maggie was able build such trust, respect and admiration among so many people who in most cases she had never met.

Those who did know Maggie personally are very fortunate.

I've only just become aware of this news but am deeply saddened by the loss of such a great person. RIP Maggie.

I'm more of a lurker here but I know Maggie was a cherished and well-known member of Silver Stackers and I'm shocked to hear of her passing, my thoughts are with her family.

Rest in peace Maggie.

I don't come around here much any more, but I saw this and my heart sank.
Maggie was the loveliest person I had the pleasure of dealing with on this forum, bar none.

First time I'd logged in in quite a while and I find this - so very very sad at losing such a wonderful warm-hearted person. I had several trades with Maggie and a more generous, caring, friendly person you would not meet often.

My deepest condolences to her family, and to all the wonderful people on this site who lost a dear friend.
 
Maggie was abit of a different person on the forum. I don't think I saw her ever discussing. Neutrality King.. or queen. The pm deals / business / job / happycustomers being the objective, the rest Metallica's nr1. My grandmom was the same, and she got 95. That's a ticket Maggie deserved too.
