Once you get into 40s/50s, most people quit in order to retain physical and mental health, or they just double down and drink to oblivion (early death). I wanna be the latter, not the former.

Aus culture of Drinking and gambling addiction is crazy, had afew rough years living in a pub while back...imo its prob worst drug, legalised available anywhere almost anytime and the two combined cost people insane amounts of $ and much worse at times. "Behold the alcoholized animals, bemused with drink, the right to an immoderate use of which comes along with freedom". The amount of pokies we have is insane to compared to our population, and the sick ads on tv about online betting to feed addiction...with a 2 second add afterwardsthis hits close to home.
